Systems Administrator Lead

Compensation: $122,000 - $152,000 annually, depending on experience Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Systems Administrator Lead to join their team! This is a high-impact opportunity for an infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and shaping the future of enterprise technology. In this role, you will help guide architecture decisions, strengthen security, and support modernization across on-premises and cloud environments. The team is looking for someone who can bring technical depth, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to a growing infrastructure landscape. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Lead enterprise infrastructure design across on-premises and cloud environments Develop standards, roadmaps, and governance frameworks for infrastructure Serve as escalation support for complex systems and cloud issues Support modernization efforts, automation, and security improvements Partner with leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions Oversee major upgrades, migrations, and vendor-led implementations Mentor technical team members and provide hands-on guidance Maintain documentation, procedures, and compliance evidence Required Qualifications & Experience: 10+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree Experience leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives Strong knowledge of virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments Understanding of infrastructure security and Zero Trust principles Working knowledge of networking and systems integration Familiarity with SOX compliance and ITIL practices Experience with PowerFlex Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Oil and gas industry experience Experience mentoring technical teams without direct authority Background in cloud transformation or automation initiatives Experience supporting data center modernization projects Relevant certifications such as Azure, VMware, or CISSP 12 company-paid holidays 20 work-from-home days Monday through Thursday schedule with a 4-hour Friday 401k match of 10%, fully vested on day one Bonus and stock options Employer-paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage HSA contribution of $1,400 from the employer PTO based on verified industry experience Other Information: Hybrid infrastructure environment with cloud and on-premises focus Strong emphasis on security, compliance, and operational excellence If you are interested in learning more about the Systems Administrator Lead opportunity, Our client unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
