System / Business Analyst - PeopleSoft, ServiceNow & IT Procurement

Role Overview
The position is for a System / Business Analyst with experience in PeopleSoft and ServiceNow . The analyst will support procurement and financial analysis activities, focusing on the timely renewal of licensing, support, and maintenance contracts across the organization. The role involves providing procurement, budget, and financial information related to IT operations and ensuring effective contract, budget, and resource management.


Key Responsibilities

Procurement Support

• Enter requisitions into PeopleSoft, including justification comments and validating budget availability prior to submission.
• Track active IT contracts and ensure renewals are processed on time to avoid service interruptions.
• Collaborate with IT and Procurement teams to resolve procurement-related issues and provide guidance to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, budget, and HR policies and procedures.

Budget Support

• Track planned and actual expenses and support annual accrual processes.
• Partner with Budget Managers to investigate and resolve budget variances.
• Provide timely budget, procurement, and spend reporting.
• Perform financial analysis and prepare reports for management review.

Human Resources Support

• Track and support consultant and professional services engagements within the Beeline Vendor Management System.
• Create PeopleSoft requisitions to fund consultant contracts and purchase orders.
• ssist with onboarding consultants and professional services resources.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field, or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Procurement & Financial Modules , ServiceNow Asset/Contract Management , and Beeline Vendor Management System .
• Basic understanding of IT hardware, software, and technology assets.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
• bility to manage high-volume workloads accurately and independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical & Hard Skills

• dvanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP , Pivot Tables , and Power Query ; basic knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus.
• Experience creating and maintaining dashboards in Power BI , Tableau , or Looker for spend and budget tracking.
• Understanding of IT Financial Management (ITFM) concepts, including CapEx/OpEx, cloud consumption billing models (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SaaS license management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

Soft Skills

• Strong ability to translate technical billing and spending data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with IT, Finance, Procurement, and HR teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail for identifying billing discrepancies, cost overruns, and process gaps.
