Benefits 401(k) Program to secure your financial future Company‑Paid Life Insurance Health, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Spending Insurance Plans Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Bonus Incentives for employee referrals Professional Development Build expertise in both warehouse operations and CDL driving, creating a strong foundation for long‑term career growth Gain hands‑on experience with industry‑standard equipment, inventory systems, and DOT‑compliant transportation practices Work closely with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams to develop cross‑functional knowledge and leadership potential What You’ll Do Execute picking, packing, staging, and shipping of customer orders with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Perform unloading, labeling, receiving, and put‑away of inbound materials to maintain smooth warehouse flow Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory processes to ensure inventory accuracy Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in all warehouse functions Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused warehouse environment Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CDL required) to deliver materials to customer locations Ensure proper load securement using straps, chains, and binders while protecting materials during transit Conduct pre‑trip, in‑route, and post‑trip inspections in full compliance with DOT regulations Complete deliveries on time while providing a high level of customer service and professionalism Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and compliance records Transition seamlessly between warehouse and driving responsibilities based on operational needs Support branch operations during driver shortages, peak volumes, and operational disruptions Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams to meet delivery and service commitments Contribute to improving operational efficiency and reducing delays and manual work Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience Valid CDL Class A (or B, based on fleet) license in good standing with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling processes Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA compliance, and safe driving practices Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling equipment Ability to execute commercial driving routes and delivery schedules effectively Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order fulfillment Ability to complete documentation and maintain compliance records accurately Strong communication and teamwork skills with a customer‑focused mindset Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety procedures, and delivery documentation Ability to quickly adapt and shift priorities based on operational demands Physical requirements: lift 50–90 lbs. regularly, perform demanding warehouse and delivery tasks, work in indoor and outdoor conditions, safely operate equipment and vehicles in safety‑sensitive environments Pre‑Employment Requirements Ability to pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check Authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Experience in lumber or building materials distribution Forklift certification and hands‑on warehouse equipment experience Flatbed delivery experience with strong load securement knowledge Prior experience balancing both warehouse and driving responsibilities in a distribution environment Work Environment Fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive distribution environment requiring attention to detail and efficiency Combination of indoor warehouse work and outdoor driving conditions in varying weather High‑visibility role representing the company during customer deliveries Frequent interaction with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams Independent decision‑making required both in warehouse execution and on‑road situations Direct impact on OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full), customer satisfaction, and labor efficiency Physically active role requiring movement, lifting, and equipment operation throughout the day Dynamic daily responsibilities with shifting priorities based on business needs Career Growth Opportunities Advance into specialized roles such as lead driver, warehouse supervisor, or operations coordinator Expand certifications in equipment operation, safety, and transportation compliance Develop leadership skills through cross‑functional collaboration and operational involvement Gain exposure to logistics, inventory management, and supply chain operations Grow within an employee‑owned company that values internal promotion and long‑term career development About Our Companies Parksite is a premier sales, marketing, and distribution company serving the building industry with a focus on both interior and exterior products.
