Allegiance Staffing is hiring Forklift Operators in the Morrisville, NC area!!
Position Summary
The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and storing materials throughout the facility to support warehouse and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials and products.
- Transport materials between storage, production, and shipping areas.
- Secure loads for safe transportation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and work instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety practices preferred.
