Walser Kia is growing, and we're adding Customer Specialists to keep up. Our Minnetonka store serves Wayzata, Plymouth, and the greater Twin Cities, and demand keeps climbing across the lineup Telluride, Sportage, Sorento, Seltos, Carnival, K4, and K5 plus one of the deepest hybrid and EV lineups in the segment, including the EV6, EV9, EV3, Niro EV, and plug-in hybrid Sportage, Sorento, and Carnival.

That mix matters for your career. Kia buyers walk in with real questions about range, charging, tax credits, and hybrid versus gas. The Customer Specialists who can answer those questions well are the ones customers come back to and refer. You don't need to know any of it on day one we'll teach you but you do need the curiosity to learn it.

You'll also sell the Walser way: transparent, upfront pricing and a pressure-free experience. No haggling, no games. Your job is to guide, not to grind.

Compensation

Base salary + uncapped commission

Average earnings: $75,000 $120,000 a year

Top performers exceed $150K annually!

What You'll Do

• Maintain unit average required by store
• Maintain a minimum PVR and VSC required by store
• Greet all customers promptly and in a courteous manner
• Lead customers through the entire sales process
• Use Walser CRM tool effectively to track all customer interactions
• Effectively educate all customers on benefits that Walser has to offer
• Build working knowledge of the full Kia lineup, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and all-electric models, and help customers compare powertrains, range, and charging options
• Take customers on test drives and ensure the customer understands the vehicle's operating features
• Educate customers on financial products and financing options available to them
• Follow up with customers after the purchase
• Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
• Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear when in dealership service departments
• All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned

What You Bring

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, but not required
• Successfully test out of sales training program
• Excellent listening, telephone, and computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have a friendly, positive attitude and be a team player
• Professional demeanor and appearance (nametags, uniform, etc.)
• Strong customer service mentality
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

No automotive experience required. Some of our strongest Customer Specialists came from retail, restaurants, hospitality, call centers, fitness, and college athletics.
