Job Summary Emergency nurses collaborate with physicians and radiologic technologists to promote and restore patient’s health by decisively assessing, intervening, and stabilizing a variety of trauma and illnesses in patients of all ages. The emergency nurse is integral in providing physical and psychological support to patients, facility visitors and team members. Due to the range of medical conditions that may require urgent treatment and care the emergency nurse must be knowledgeable about general as well as specific health issues. Licenses required. Required: Completed required education to obtain state licensure as a registered nurse. Experience Preferred: Two plus years of experience as an emergency or ICU nurse. Computer Skills Required: Basic computer skills Certifications & Licenses: Required: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse Required: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS Summary of Duties Enthusiastically accepts and endorses the company’s core values of Accountability, Do Something Good, Empathy, and Zeal. Maintains appropriate par levels of inventory within the facility by monitoring and reporting inventory supply to appropriate personnel.
