Accounts Payable Manager

At the same time, our unique entrepreneurial spirit propels the scope of our capabilities while offering our highly valued employees the opportunity to grow, develop and showcase their individual talents Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable operations across multiple affiliated companies and business units, ensuring consistency in policies, procedures, and internal controls. Lead AP‑related system implementations, process improvements, and ERP enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. Coordinate cash requirements and payment planning with Treasury to support cash management and business objectives. Provide training and development to AP staff, including assigning work tasks and monitoring performance. Develop, maintain, and improve AP workflows, approval hierarchies, vendor onboarding procedures, and payment controls. Analyze AP metrics, payment trends, aging reports, and operational data to identify risks, improve performance of the team overall, and support management decision‑making. Serve as a key cross‑functional partner between Accounting, Logistics, Operations, Trade Execution, and Management teams. Support acquisitions, new entity integrations, and organizational growth initiatives by establishing AP processes, controls, and reporting structures. Identify opportunities for automation and standardization of AP processes across multiple business units. Review high‑value vendor payments and escalated issues requiring management intervention. Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, banking controls, and regulatory obligations. Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related major 5+ years of progressive experience in AP / Accounting 3+ years in supervising an AP specialist or staff required Proficient in MS Office and hands‑on experience with Accounting / ERP systems Ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment Must have strong written and verbal communication internally and externally to a variety of third parties Excellent organizational and analytical skills Capable of being an effective team member and display initiative In‑person position 4 days a week and 1 day remote Benefits Competitive salary and performance‑based bonuses.
