It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Department: CorrectionsGrade: 220Salary: $28.58/hourJob Duties:Responsible for administrative functions within the Department of Corrections’ Human Resources unit and senior management; maintains and provides various documents, spreadsheets, forms, and reports.Responsible for obtaining Workers’ Compensation reports from staff and distributing information in a timely manner to the Department of Human Resources; keeps personnel and related information confidential.Responsible for the maintenance and updates of departmental and confidential files; assists with preparing documentation including payroll, on-line requisitions, waiver of postings, and above entry data.The associate in this position must work on those Saturdays that follow the end of a payroll period to audit, adjust, and export electronic timecard data. The incumbent serves as Human Resources Manager in their absence).Minimum Qualifications:Must have an Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources administrative and automated payroll processing; 1-3 years of experience using general financial system and payroll database applications preferred.Must have a working telephone.Must work on those Saturdays that follow the end of a payroll period.Must maintain sufficient physical dexterity to perform essential elements of the position.Must submit to/pass a pre-employment background and drug screen and submit to/pass random drug screens.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us! #J-18808-Ljbffr Jackson County, MO
