Multimedia Designer
Motion Giraffx
Job Description
We’re hiring a Multimedia Designer!
\nRemote | Motion Giraffx
\nMotion Giraffx is a boutique creative studio specializing in animation, video, and visual storytelling. We help companies turn complex ideas into content that’s clear, engaging, and thoughtfully designed.
\nWe’re looking for a versatile multimedia designer who’s an avid learner, a resourceful problem solver, and excited to work across creative disciplines.
\nA little about our team
\nWe’re a small, collaborative team of artists. We all wear many hats, share what we know, and pitch in where we’re needed most. One day we’re creating product renders, the next we’re on a video shoot, and the next we’re developing illustrations.
\nYou don’t need to be an expert in everything. You should bring a solid creative foundation, curiosity, and the follow-through to turn new skills into work the team can count on.
\nWhat you’ll rotate through
\n- \n
- Edit videos, clean up and mix audio, and color correct footage. \n
- Design and animate lower thirds, titles, logos, and supporting graphics. \n
- Create illustrations, storyboards, and assets for animation. \n
- Composite footage, graphics, and visual effects in After Effects. \n
- Incorporate feedback, organize project files, and prepare final deliverables. \n
- Support teammates with production tasks and learn new tools as projects call for them. \n
Your strengths and interests will help shape your assignments. Can you draw? Great, you might help with storyboards. Interested in Houdini? You might start with model prep as you learn the software. We’re looking for someone who actively finds ways to contribute and grow.
\nWhat you should bring
\n- \n
- A portfolio showing strong design fundamentals, video editing, and motion graphics. \n
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects, plus working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop. \n
- Comfort with audio editing and basic color correction. \n
- A strong eye for pacing, typography, composition, color, and animation timing. \n
- The ability to research problems, try solutions, and ask for help when needed. \n
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and reliable time management in a remote environment. \n
- Willingness to tackle both creative assignments and everyday production tasks. \n
Bonus skills
\n3D animation is a huge plus! We’d also love to see experience with modeling, lighting, rendering, drawing, storyboarding, camera operation, or on-set production. We're looking for people who tell great stories and are great at problem solving.
\nKindness, integrity, and a willingness to learn and teach matter here. We value people who communicate honestly, welcome feedback, and help their teammates succeed.
\nWork environment
\nThis role involves substantial computer-based work and may include occasional on-site video production support. Production tasks may involve moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Other related responsibilities may vary with project needs.
\nInterested?
\nSend your résumé and portfolio/reel to View email address on ziprecruiter.com. Tell us what you do best and what you’d love to learn next. For collaborative portfolio projects, please explain your role and which parts you created.
