Responsibilities
As an Instrument Technician, your strong detail orientation and multi-tasking skills will be valuable in our fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will be responsible for cleaning, organizing, wrapping and sterilizing instrumentation. Assuring all instrumentation and equipment is maintained in an optimal manner. Responsible for monitoring of the autoclaves/Steris units and other sterilization units biological and steam penetration testing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two years' experience with surgical instruments and sterilization techniques preferred
- ASC experience preferred
- Ophthalmology experience is a plus
- Detail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible schedule Monday through Friday
