Phlebotomist - Part Time
$18 - $26 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a part-time phlebotomist for a patient service center in Portland, Maine, working three hours daily Monday through Friday. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient data, and delivering customer service in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar analyses
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
- Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum six months experience as a phlebotomist
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record providing exceptional customer service
Compensation: $18.00–$26.00 per hour
