Job Details Specialty: Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Lafayette, Indiana Start Date: 10/05/2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Unit Size: 27 beds Patient Care Setting: Cardiac ICU, post-op cardiac, and medical ICU overflow Job Requirements Active RN license Minimum 3 years of ICU or CVICU nursing experience At least 1 year of ventilator and cardiac drip experience At least 2 years of PCU or progressive care experience preferred ACLS and NIH certification required Ability to pass facility cardiac rhythm knowledge testing with a 90% score Previous critical care experience strongly preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Reliable, punctual, hard-working, and outgoing professional demeanor Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to cardiovascular and critically ill patients Monitor patients with varying acuity levels and respond quickly to changes in condition Manage cardiac drips, ventilators, and advanced ICU equipment Support post-operative cardiac patients and medical ICU overflow patients Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care Float to ICU or other inpatient units as needed Work every other weekend and participate in low-census or on-call rotation as assigned Why Apply for This Travel Nursing Job?
