Location: Baltimore City, Maryland
BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic and dependable After-School Lacrosse Instructors to lead fun, engaging lacrosse enrichment programs for elementary-aged students at schools throughout Baltimore City .
If you enjoy coaching, mentoring, and introducing children to one of Maryland's most popular sports, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're an experienced coach, former player, teacher, or simply passionate about working with kids, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in your community.
Position Details
- Part-time, after-school position
- Monday through Friday
- Between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- 1.5-hour sessions
- $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
- No weekends
- No lesson planning required
- Curriculum and equipment provided

Responsibilities
- Lead engaging lacrosse sessions for elementary students
- Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
- Teach fundamental stick skills, passing, catching, shooting, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
- Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
- Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership
Qualifications
- Lacrosse playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
- Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore City
- Dependable and punctual
- Must successfully complete the required Baltimore City Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
