In this role, you will architect, deploy, and operate Microsoft Azure infrastructure as part of a hybrid enterprise environment, integrating dynamic cloud workloads with on-premises compute, storage, and identity platforms in a classified setting. You will be the program's go-to expert for all things Azure, from landing zone design and identity to migration, automation, security compliance and FinOps support.This is your opportunity to shape a dynamic hybrid cloud environment from the ground up on a program that directly supports national security missions.What You'll Be DoingDesign, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure including compute (VMs, scale sets), storage, virtual networking, and platform services in commercial and/or Government environmentsArchitect and maintain landing zones, subscription/management group structure, and governance via CSP Policy, RBAC, and other security toolsHelp design and implement dynamic deployment methods based on customer needs, system telemetry, and other factorsPlan and execute workload migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud, including assessment, right-sizing, cutover, and validationBuild and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools; automate operational tasksImplement backup, disaster recovery, and continuity/resilience solutions using CSP-specific tools and on-premises toolingHarden cloud systems in accordance with DoD STIGs, CIS benchmarks, and DISA cloud computing SRG requirements; support RMF assessment and authorization activities with required artifacts and evidence in support of Authority to TestImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting for all cloud resources; ensure audit logging meets NIST SP 800-53 (AU family) requirementsManage cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning across the hybrid environmentDevelop and maintain architecture documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures; mentor junior engineersWhat Required Skills You'll BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 4+ years of hands-on cloud engineeringDeep expertise in IaaS and core platform services: virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, security, identity, policy, and RBACExperience designing and operating hybrid environments, including hybrid identity and connectivityProficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automationCertified cloud solutions architectActive TS/SCI security clearance, may require a polygraphWhat Desired Skills You'll BringExperience with classified cloud regionsExperience applying DISA Cloud Computing SRG, FedRAMP, and DoD Impact Level (IL4/IL5/IL6/IL7) requirementsExperience supporting RMF authorization packages (eMASS/XACTA) and security assessments in DoD/IC environmentsFamiliarity with containerization and orchestration (AKS, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (DevOps, GitLab)Experience with cloud security automationExperience working in SCIF or air gapped environments and with disconnected/limited-connectivity cloud patternsCISSP or CCSP certificationSecurity Clearance Requirement:NoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
