Farmington Public Schools has an immediate need for Homebound Tutors. Homebound Tutors provide tutoring services to students who are unable to attend school. A Bachelor's degree is required; variety of grade levels and subject areas are available. Hours are dependent upon student need. No benefits. Position Type: Tutors / Homebound Tutor Date Posted: 8/20/2025 Location: Townwide Date Available: 09/01/2025 Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a good rapport with students and possess a personable relationship with teachers. Consideration will be given to the following: Ability to carry out directions in both oral and written form. Various life/work experiences that contribute to the candidate's overall preparedness. Prior experience working with school age children is a plus. Salary $25.00 for Bachelor's Degree; $30.00 if candidate has State of CT Certification Work Schedule Approximately 10 hours per week, various times during the school day, grade levels and subject areas.
