Job Description Duration: 3+ Months (possibility for extension) Shifts: Full-time remote coder position. Initially onsite for 7-10 days of training, then remote. Will need to come onsite every 5-6 weeks to work with the HIM team, providers, and staff. Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years Job Start Date: 9/25/2017 Responsibilities: Current AHIMA or AAPC Certification Required (CPC, CCS-P) Outpatient Coding Experience in ED and Observation Coding Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT codes, and modifiers from medical records Identify and abstract information from medical records (paper or electronic) Work within GE Centricity and McKesson Paragon/One Content, including 3M Follow established query processes to clarify documentation supporting coding assignments Maintain productivity and accuracy standards Initially onsite training, then remote with periodic onsite visits every 4-6 weeks Additional Information Shift Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM #J-18808-Ljbffr
