Oncology Nurse Practitioner
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Central Nebraska. This location offers plenty for a true nature lover with stunning scenery. Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Certification as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nebraska
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality and comprehensive care to patients with cancer
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and prescribe medications and treatments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
