Dearborn Inpatient Pharmacy - Full Time, Rotating ShiftThe pharmacy department at Dearborn is responsible for providing medication reliably and safely for our patients. We are a resource for medication information for providers, staff, and patients. Pharmacy spans across the continuum of care, from outpatient to inpatient, ambulatory and specialty to critical care.Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a major teaching and research hospital and home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited by the Joint Commission as a primary stroke center. The hospital is also known for clinical excellence and innovation in the fields of orthopedics, neurosciences, women's health, heart and vascular, and cancer care.Under moderate direction and supervision, operate in designated areas or job functions within the site location. Functions relatively independently and has some decision-making responsibility. May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of the pharmacy department. Enhanced knowledge/training of area assigned above and beyond a pharmacy technician. Participates in training of employees in the area of specialty. Operates in a designated area of specialty or assigned responsibilities above and beyond technician duties. Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned. Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project. Serves as a role model and leader in the department. Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command. Required to adhere to regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance (including USP [795] [797] [800] in sites that perform sterile compounding). Participates in training others in area of specialty.Required High School Diploma or equivalent2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy.
