Lab Support Services Supervisor - Accessioning

Labcorp seeks a Lab Support Services Supervisor for its Oak Creek, Wisconsin accessioning department. The role involves supervising non-technical staff, overseeing specimen preparation, managing scheduling and staffing, and ensuring quality assurance in a high-volume laboratory environment. Evening shift (6:00pm-2:30am) with weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and non-technical staff in accessioning department
• Train, mentor, and provide coaching to direct reports and team members
• Monitor workflow, schedule staff coverage, and ensure adequate shift staffing
• Research and resolve production errors, escalating as necessary
• Perform quality assurance checks and maintain related records and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in laboratory, healthcare, manufacturing, or warehouse setting
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience working in high-volume laboratory environment
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Associate's degree preferred
• 6+ months clinical laboratory or team leadership experience preferred
