CEI Inspector Aide

In the role of Civil Construction Inspector I, we'll count on you to: Conduct and document observations of construction as it progresses for civil projects related to civil infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, water/wastewater facilities, pump stations and pipelines Monitor, record and inspect progress on construction projects Coordinate field materials sampling and testing, including concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing Receive general supervision from the Senior Inspector who reviews work while in progress Perform basic mathematical calculations and follow simple technical instructions Ability to obtain FDOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of the assignment Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Some demonstrated experience in construction inspection Ability to interpret construction schedules Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently and as part of a team An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must HDR's Drug and Alcohol Policy supports our commitment to employee safety and exceeding client requirements.
