Quick Facts: Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855, United States Start Date: 03/25/2026 Duration: Ongoing coverage (coverage dates include 6/11-6/15 and 12/11-12/14) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch (8 hours billable), 15-hour overnight call shifts, 24-hour weekend call Hours per Week: Full-time Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Michigan medical license required, board-certified in Gastroenterology Experience: Prior ERCP experience preferred, with proficiency in procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEJ placement, ERCP/EUS (preferred), capsule endoscopy, and Propofol sedation Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide coverage in Gastroenterology, including ERCP procedures Perform EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, and PEG/PEJ placements Assist with capsule endoscopy and use of Olympus endoscopy equipment Manage an average of 12 patients per day in a well-established endo unit with four procedure rooms Review pathology, document findings, and communicate follow-up instructions with nursing staff Work independently with full responsibility for charting and case management, without scribe assistance Collaborate with a highly accomplished, dedicated endoscopy team What You Need: Valid Michigan medical license Board certification in Gastroenterology ERCP experience (preferred) Ability to perform a wide range of gastrointestinal procedures Full availability for all scheduled coverage dates and shifts About the Assignment: This assignment is at a well-established hospital in Marquette, MI, featuring a busy endoscopy unit with four Olympus endoscopy suites. The provider will deliver comprehensive GI coverage across scheduled dates, with procedures including ERCP/EUS, and manage all aspects of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
