Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,365–2,611 per week Guaranteed hours: 0 Contract duration: 16 weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Start date: 07/13/2026 Setting: hospital ER (travel assignment) Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, monitoring, and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients Administer medications, IV therapies, and basic life-support interventions as ordered Assess patient status, interpret assessments, and communicate changes to the ED team and physicians Perform procedures within scope of practice and maintain sterile technique; document interventions and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Epic) Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate expedited patient flow and ensure patient safety Respond to emergencies and assist with code and rapid response situations as needed; educate patients and families about diagnoses and discharge instructions Requirements Current New York RN license or proof of application with applied date; licensing processing may take 6–8 weeks Minimum 1 year ER nursing experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (active or proof of class prior to start; equivalency accepted), NIHSS; ENPC or equivalency recommended; TNCC must be active or proof of class prior to start; NIHSS required prior to starting Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable) Prior travel experience preferred; charge experience preferred NY license processing and start‑date coordination required; ability to work 12‑hour night shifts and meet scheduling needs (every other weekend; holiday requirements but no call) Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing Nationwide assignments Extension opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
