Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to manage caseloads typical of post-acute and skilled nursing populations, including restorative and skilled therapy interventions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30 - 16:30.
• Work pattern: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
• Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide evidence-based physical therapy to skilled nursing residents to improve mobility, function, and quality of life. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
