Regional Manager

Regional Manager As a Regional Manager, you will manage an assigned portfolio of residential communities, making decisions to maximize income and minimize expenses while achieving overall objectives of the communities in your region. Responsibilities Oversee financial budgeting, reporting, marketing, leasing, and operations for all apartment communities in the portfolio. Hire, train, mentor, and lead on‑site professionals; recruit, develop, and manage a high‑quality on‑site team. Plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; address conflicts and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all properties. Represent the company professionally to clients, residents, vendors, and employees. Assist with budget preparation, monitor monthly variances, and provide written evaluations of significant over‑budget items. Provide capital improvement suggestions, approve invoices for payment, and ensure timely processing with accounting. Handle multiple projects and tasks while maintaining confidentiality and composure under stress. Qualifications Previous experience as a regional manager in residential property management with supervisory/management experience. CPM designation is a plus but not required. College degree desired. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance coverage. Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Excellent computer, verbal, math, and reasoning skills. Strong negotiating and sales abilities. Leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Effective time‑management skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products. Ability to calculate figures related to real estate. Knowledge of internet, email, and social media for community marketing. Familiarity with property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi, RealPage, Knock, RentCafe, ResMan, etc.). Understanding of business practices and principles. Capability to handle multiple projects and tasks and cope with stress.
