Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Store Manager to support and oversee daily operations across all locations. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety while managing staff, inventory, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities and Tasks Oversee Daily Operations: Manage daily operations across all locations, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality service, and customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer experience. Staff Management: Hire, train, and onboard new staff members to ensure they meet store expectations and standards. Customer Service: Address customer concerns, resolve operational issues, and improve the in-store experience. Staff Scheduling: Manage and control the scheduling of store attendants, including overtime, to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient staffing. Cash Handling & Inventory: Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, monitor inventory counts, and procure necessary supplies and products for all locations. Safety & Security: Ensure safety and security protocols are followed, maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Moderate Driving: Conduct driving within the Columbus metro area to visit and oversee various store locations. Store Cleanliness & Laundry Service: Ensure the store remains clean and well-maintained. Manage the Drop-off Laundry Service to ensure customers are served in a timely manner. Procurement & Stocking: Procure and stock supplies and over-the-counter products for all locations. Task Supervision & Management: Plan, assign, and supervise tasks for attendants, resolving complaints and addressing any issues as they arise. Opening & Closing Procedures: Assist with the daily opening and closing of the store. Additional Duties: Take on other tasks as necessary to contribute to the overall success of the store and locations. Qualifications Previous experience in retail or store management preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively. Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities. Experience with staff training, hiring, and scheduling. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license for moderate local travel.
