Accountant IV

This position, is a part of the Financial Reporting department within the CFO Division, is responsible for assisting in the preparation and distribution of various University financial reports, both annual and off-cycle. This role is critical to the compiling of financial data that is utilized in various reports. The incumbent will also conduct financial analysis, data collection, reporting, and special projects as needed for the CFO Division to assist with strategic decision making, compliance, and reporting requirements.

Expected Salary: $85k - $95k

Certified Public Accountant or equivalent Certification strongly preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. Also, have extensive knowledge/understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Experience with fiscal operations managing general ledger or financial reporting activities. Ability to analyze and solve problems, interpret, and recommend solutions or changes. Excellent customer service skills, including strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings. Flexibility and adaptability dealing with various priorities. Must display a positive attitude and be a team player – must be able to thrive in a collaborative environment. Experience using PeopleSoft and/or Workday Financial systems.
