Details 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit in an inpatient hospital setting Rooming-in model where all infants stay with mothers; newborn nursery available for infants requiring additional care Patient population includes neonates and adults Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 Every other weekend coverage required Omnicell medication dispensing system used SBAR communication protocol in use Requirements Active MA RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Beginners Fetal Monitoring AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered based on experience All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at the time of initial consideration No charge nurse experience required or preferred American Traveler Job ID #P-705924.
