Job Posting – Claims Adjuster in New York (FT) ICORP Investigations has an immediate opening for a Full Time Claims Adjuster in New York. The Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations related to Workers’ Compensation, Auto and General Liability type insurance claims where fraud or misrepresentation is suspected. Responsibilities: Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve workers compensation claims involving moderate to high complexities and exposures, within authority limits and in accordance with jurisdictional requirements. Determines validity and compensability of the claim by investigating and gathering information regarding the claim and files necessary documentation with state agencies. All file handling must be within state statutes, client claims handling guidelines, and best practices. Experience with NICB Write and record detailed statements Submit professional reports Salary – based on experience Skills and Qualifications: 3 + years handling workers’ compensation lost-time/indemnity claims as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
