A health services organization in Virginia is seeking a licensed Primary Care Physician to join their team in Richmond, providing comprehensive care for adults 55 and older.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Setting: Outpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for an adult patient population ages 55 and older
- Manage an average patient volume of approximately 20 to 22 patients per day
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions within the scope of internal medicine, family medicine, or geriatrics
- Coordinate care with the site medical director and other members of the care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support continuity of care in an outpatient setting
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Active medical licensure in Virginia
- Experience practicing primary care
