NEXTAFF is looking for experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a background in Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) for an upcoming assignment in Green Cove Springs, just outside Jacksonville.

If you’re comfortable caring for patients with complex medical needs and enjoy working in an environment where your clinical skills make a difference, we’d love to connect.

This is a great opportunity for nurses looking for a shorter travel contract, competitive weekly compensation, and a schedule that gives you four days away from work each week.

Compensation Breakdown

• Total Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,250
• Effective Hourly Compensation: $62.50/hr
• Taxable Hourly Wage: $35.56/hr
• Weekly Taxable Wages: $1,280
• Combined Housing, Meals & Travel Stipend: Up to $970/week for eligible travelers

Compensation is based on 36 hours worked weekly. Stipend eligibility and tax treatment depend on applicable requirements. Final compensation will be confirmed before assignment acceptance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex, long-term medical needs.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and carry out treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Support patients and families throughout their care.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license.
• Previous LTAC nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience caring for medically complex patients.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts weekly.
• Must live more than 50 miles for stipend eligibility

Additional facility-specific credentials and experience requirements will be confirmed during screening.
