BENEFITS $19.00 per hour Additional $2/hr for shift differential when applicable Medical insurance Vision insurance Dental Insurance 401k with employer match (100% up to 6%) after one year of employment Paid Time Off (PTO) earned quarterly Paid holidays Paid training DESCRIPTION A Driving Instructor at Capabilities works with individuals with and without disabilities age 16+ to help them learn the skills necessary to get their learner’s permit and/or driver’s license. You get to work one-on-one with people to teach traffic laws, signs, responsibility, safety, and build confidence while they are on-the-road. When they are ready to test, you accompany them to the testing site to support them and celebrate their achievements. Imagine this: The door to the BMV opens and a newly licensed driver that you helped runs toward you with a big smile on their face… they passed! You just helped open a door to a world of new opportunities for them. REQUIREMENTS High school diploma/GED or above. Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop. A clean driving record and ability to teach people to drive in company vehicles.
