Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description
Responsible for managing inventory, preparing orders, and handling heavy distribution materials. This role involves working with heavy wholesale commodities such as food-grade, water conditioning, and pool salts packaged in 50 to 80 lbs bags stacked on heavy pallets. The position requires a high level of physical activity with a strong focus on precision and safety.
Responsibilities

• Safely unload incoming shipments of raw salt/chemicals and load outbound distribution trucks using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Accurately pull bulk items from inventory to fulfill wholesale and commercial customer orders.
• Verify documentation for incoming receipts, visually inspect bags, lot codes, and pallets for damages or discrepancies, and participate in physical inventory cycle counts.
• Ensure the safety, security, and cleanliness of the warehouse floor by adhering to a 'clean as you go' policy.
• Use computers or RF scanners to record receipts, update inventory tracking systems, and document daily assignments.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklifts, including sit-down forklifts.
• Proficiency in warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading.
• Attention to detail, particularly in inventory management and cleaning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities are a plus, but English proficiency is sufficient.

Work Environment
The warehouse is air-conditioned and ventilated, ensuring a clean environment. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
