Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for various procedures.
• Scrub in and assist surgical teams by anticipating needs during operations.
• Ensure a sterile environment through proper handling and sterilization of surgical equipment.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation relating to procedures and patient care.
• Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, registered nurses, and anesthesia providers.
• Keep an organized, well-stocked surgical suite according to established protocols.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations within the OR.
• Support post-operative care and assist with patient transfers as needed.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program/certification.
• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required.
• Experience in an OR setting and familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent).
• Knowledge of proper infection control and safety protocols.
