Manager, Quality Assurance

Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Manager of QA to lead our quality assurance testing for some of our mortgage data and artificial intelligence platforms. This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, system reliability, and AI testing in multiple mortgage technology systems. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in QA methodologies with knowledge of mortgage industry requirements, data validation, and AI/ML systems testing.ResponsibilitiesLead QA engineers, test automation specialists, and data quality analysts across multiple mortgage data and AI initiativesOversee end-to-end testing of mortgage products including loan origination systems, pricing engines, risk assessment models, and data analytics platformsPartner with engineering, product, and business teams to define quality requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for multiple mortgage data and AI initiativesDesign and deploy automated testing solutions for data ingestion pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time mortgage data processing systemsLead risk assessment and mitigation strategies for mortgage AI systems, including model drift detection, fairness auditing, and regulatory compliance validationDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defect escape rate, improve test coverage, and accelerate time-to-marketMentor and develop QA team members in his team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous learningLead automation using next Gen AI tools and bring in AIDLC initiatives across teams.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field10+ years of QA experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/management roleDeep understanding of mortgage industry, loan processes, and mortgage technology ecosystemStrong background in data quality assurance, data validation, and ETL testingExperience with AI/ML systems testing, model validation, and performance evaluationExpertise in test automation frameworks, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelinesProficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript) for test automationKnowledge of API testing, database testing, and performance/load testing toolsUnderstanding of regulatory compliance requirements in financial services (FNMA, FHLMC, SEC, CFPB regulations)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesTest Automation: Selenium, UFT/QTP, TestComplete, Cucumber, Robot FrameworkProgramming Languages: Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, SQLTesting Tools: JIRA, TestRail, LoadRunner, JMeter, Postman, SoapUICI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub ActionsDatabases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, data validation techniquesAPI Testing: RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, OAuth/security testingData Testing: ETL validation, data profiling, data quality toolsCloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud PlatformAI/ML Testing: Model validation tools, performance metrics, bias detection frameworksPreferred Knowledge and ExperienceMBA or advanced degree in related fieldISTQB Certified Test Manager or equivalent QA certificationExperience with mortgage-specific platforms and systems (pricing engines, AUS systems, LOS)Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and model evaluation techniquesExperience with data warehousing and big data testing (Hadoop, Spark, Cloud platforms)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practicesExperience with open-source testing frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, pytest)Background in building quality assurance centers of excellenceExperience with test data management and synthetic data generationKnowledge of financial regulations and compliance testing requirementsCore CompetenciesStrategic Leadership & VisioningTeam Building and Talent DevelopmentProcess Improvement and Continuous OptimizationRisk Management and ComplianceStakeholder Management and CommunicationTechnical Expertise and Problem-SolvingData-Driven Decision MakingAgile & DevOps mindsetChange ManagementCross-functional Collaboration Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
