About the Position

Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Rochester, New York

Schedule: 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), varying days off based on department needs; on-call requirements include weeknights, weekends, and holidays (approximately 4-6 shifts per month)

Highlights:

• 8-week contract in a 30-bed endoscopy unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Advanced procedural experience with EUS, ERCP, Navigational Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Manometry, and Fibroscan
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment including ERBE units, Olympus scopes/processors, Super-D, Bravo, VCE, and specialized manometry systems
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Float opportunities to Pre-Anesthesia/PACU as needed for expanded skill development
• EPIC charting system experience utilized

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CGRN certification strongly preferred
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV placement (mandatory competency required)
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Experience with conscious sedation administration, monitoring, and recovery
• Competency in bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS procedures
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility location
