CEQA Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated CEQA Project Manager to lead and manage environmental review processes in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of CEQA documentation, including Initial Studies, Negative Declarations, and Environmental Impact Reports. You will coordinate with various stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, local governments, and community members, to ensure that all projects are thoroughly evaluated and that environmental concerns are addressed effectively. Strong project management skills are essential, as you will manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.


The successful candidate will also facilitate public meetings and workshops, preparing presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations clearly. You will be expected to conduct site visits, assess environmental impacts, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop mitigation measures. A solid understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and best practices is crucial. Candidates should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.


Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of experience in project management and CEQA compliance. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed are also required.
