React Developer

ReactJS / NextJS Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack React/JavaScript Developer to join our Agency Digital Experience department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing internal projects and tools to enhance team efficiency, as well as creating external-facing websites and products. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in establishing standards and processes for a comprehensive CI/CD platform and develop custom CMS backends. Collaboration with developers across departments to understand and define requirements will also be a key aspect of this role. Web performance and accessibility are also key concerns because of their respective importance to user experience and perception of a premium experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain internal projects and tools to optimize team efficiency and productivity.
• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly and responsive external-facing websites and products using React and JavaScript technologies.
• Create and implement standards and processes to establish a comprehensive Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) platform.
• Build custom Content Management System (CMS) backends to support the needs of our clients and projects.
• Collaborate with developers from various departments to gather requirements, understand project objectives, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending their implementation where applicable.
• Actively participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proficient experience in full stack development with a focus on React and JavaScript technologies.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
• Extensive experience building responsive and user-friendly websites and applications.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in developing custom CMS backends and integrating with CMS platforms.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, SQL Server, Snowflake, or Postgres.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and modern development workflows.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and interpret business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with various CMS and CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
• Exposure to cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Experience in developing secure web applications and implementing security best practices.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Background in the education industry or experience working on similar projects.
