Casino Bartender

Under general supervision, obtains guest' beverage orders, ensures accurate and timely service of all orders by working with bar personnel. Maintains the cleanliness of the casino bars and ensures adequate stock levels of supplies. Provides superior service to all guest.

1. Maintains and ensures checklist to completion including but not limited to opening and closing procedures.
2. Provides prompt, courteous beverage service to all guest.
3. Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
4. Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
5. Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
6. Adhere to company policy by measuring all drinks using either the Berg system or a Jigger.
7. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
8. Participates in liquor pull ensuring compliance with all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations.
9. Adhere to rules pertaining to Caesars Rewards card membership while working in Lounge.
10. Monitors guest consumption of alcohol by providing responsible alcohol service.
11. Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays. Cleans bars, work areas and tables.
12. Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
13. Operates a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amounts into the register.
14. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 21-years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification.
• Ability to work in a team environment and under stress as the volume of business increases.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 12- hour shifts.
• Must be physically mobile with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. (liquor stock, beer cases/kegs).
• Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while preparing drinks.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lightening, vibration, crowds and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as necessary.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least one year experience of high volume bartending experience directly related to the accountabilities specified
