With stores across the country and a thriving online business, our distribution centers play an essential role in getting products to our customers.We're looking for dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our team!As a Warehouse Associate, you'll work in a fast-paced environment using warehouse technology and equipment to receive, organize, replenish, pick, pack, and ship merchandise.We are hiring across multiple departments!Replenishment & PutawayMove merchandise from receiving areas to designated storage and picking locations.Use handheld technology to complete inventory replenishment and putaway tasks.Operate warehouse equipment, which may include pallet jacks, order pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts.Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization throughout the distribution center.Safely navigate warehouse aisles, elevated storage areas, and multi-level picking modules.Store ReplenishmentPick, pack, and prepare merchandise for shipment to retail stores.Use voice-picking technology to accurately fulfill replenishment orders.Load and secure merchandise for transportation.Verify product quantities and maintain order accuracy.Support receiving, inventory processing, and other warehouse operations as needed.Direct to Customer (E-commerce Fulfillment)Pick, pack, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.Use voice-picking technology and warehouse systems to process orders.Verify product quantities and quality before shipment.Follow standardized procedures for picking, packing, loading, and carton cutting.Prepare completed packages for shipment to customers.Inbound & ReceivingUnload and sort incoming merchandise.Receive, count, and inspect products for accuracy and quality.Help ensure inventory is properly processed and accounted for.Support the efficient flow of products throughout the distribution center.What We're Looking For:Dependable team members who arrive on time and are ready to work their assigned schedules.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Ability to follow established procedures and meet productivity standards.Willingness to learn and use warehouse technology and equipment.Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Ability to work around conveyor systems and in multi-level warehouse areas.Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.Flexibility to support other departments as operational needs change.Available Work Schedules:Beginning of Week: Sunday–WednesdayEnd of Week: Thursday–SaturdayWeekday: Monday–FridayDepartment assignments and specific working hours will be discussed during the hiring process.Why Join The Container Store?At The Container Store, our distribution center team members play an important role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.Whether you're an experienced warehouse associate or looking to build your skills, you'll have the opportunity to work with innovative technology, learn different areas of distribution center operations, and explore opportunities for growth.Apply today and become part of the team that keeps The Container Store moving!Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum 3 months combined work historyProficiency in operating multiple pieces of warehouse powered equipment (walkie rider, stock chaser, stand up forklift, order picker, and/or reach truck)Experience working in a Distribution Center or warehouse environment is preferredKnowledge of various distribution systems such as labor management system, radio frequency devices and voice picking preferredAbility to pass background checks and investigations due to foreign, federal, state and local regulations; based on position responsibility and sensitivity, periodic check and reinvestigations may be performedAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerArrives on time and is prepared to begin work at the scheduled shift time and committed to working scheduled hours with flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional manner, both orally and in writing, at all levels within and outside the organizationFlexible, with a positive attitude and passion for knowledgePossesses focused attention to detail while working quickly and accurately under pressureAbility to work within and exemplify The Container Store brand which we describe as matchless, fun, authentic, team-focused and life-changingThe Container Store promotes a smoke-free, drug-free environment.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act
