Senior Director of Operations - Itasca and Milwaukee

Job Description Summary The Senior Director, Operations is responsible for delivering safe, efficient and effective patient care through all operational aspects in multiple Option Care branches while meeting all corporate compliance and other established rules and regulations governing the healthcare industry. Scope Manage 3 sites / 2 sites with >50 team members, Joint Venture / COE site leader, Single site + $36M Acute. Revenue per location over $40 million. Responsibilities Oversee operational performance of all assigned branches ensuring efficient, effective and high quality delivery of services and patient care. Ensure patient safety and satisfaction across all operations including pharmacy dispensing and nursing. Ensure error proofing for pick, pack and ship operations. Partner with Regional Director, Sales to drive market development and execute market-based sales strategy. Drive financial performance through supply chain/inventory optimization, manage controllable expenses, reduce bad debt and ensure accurate patient registration and onboarding. Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations, accreditation standards and corporate policies to maintain effectiveness and consistency. Build a cohesive, service-oriented team through recruitment, training, development, engagement and retention of qualified team members. Observe legal and ethical guidelines for protecting patient and proprietary data. Coordinate performance improvement activities for accreditation, including development, implementation, goal setting, and reporting. Supervisory Responsibilities Responsible for hiring, approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, and discipline of staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of experience leading operations. At least 3 years of experience managing a P&L including budget development. At least 5 years of direct people management experience, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing teams in highly matrixed organizations. Experience diagnosing, isolating and resolving complex issues; recommending and implementing solutions. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers and evaluating customer satisfaction. Experience evaluating information to determine compliance with standards, laws and regulations. Basic proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Travel: willing to travel at least 20% of the time. Preferred Qualifications & Interests Master’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration. Experience leading multi-site sales and/or operations in Home Health Care or Infusion. RN or RPh licensure. Salary Pay Range: $160,107.21 – $266,852.84.
