Job Description Reporting directly to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, the Electrical & PLC Systems Supervisor’s responsibilities include: Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test and modify developmental or operational electrical machinery, electrical control equipment, and circuitry in an industrial plant setting. Oversee assembly and testing of experimental motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles. Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective action. Develop diagrams, drawings, and specifications for modifications or expansions and direct personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties. Plan, direct, and record periodic testing; recommend or initiate modification or replacement of equipment as needed. Direct, coordinate, develop, train, coach, and assess employees. Support and encourage employees to work safely, efficiently, and effectively. Perform other job‑related duties as required or assigned.
