Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in WILMINGTON , DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a professional and welcoming atmosphere, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and clear communication. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, acts with integrity, and brings an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and help verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following site protocols for visitor processing, badge checks, and/or after-hours access.
Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating professionally with patients, staff, and/or guests while following healthcare location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
