Direct message the job poster from Kitson & Partners We are seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Director - Social Media to lead and elevate our social media presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for the end-to-end development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy aimed at increasing followers, driving engagement, and enhancing community involvement. The candidate will work closely with marketing, sales, and creative teams to deliver cohesive, brand-aligned messaging that connects with diverse audiences and supports our broader marketing and sales objectives. Responsibilities Strategy Development: Craft and execute a forward-thinking, multi-platform social media strategy aligned with brand goals to propel Babcock Ranch to the most followed community in Florida. Content Leadership: Oversee the curation, creation, and scheduling of high-quality, engaging content tailored for each platform, including Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Facebook, etc. Community Engagement: Cultivate an active, responsive online community with followers, residents and prospects to foster a positive, robust online experience that maintains the Town’s brand voice and integrity. Performance Analysis: Track, analyze and report on social media performance, and deliver actionable insights to optimize strategies. Trend Monitoring: Stay current with industry developments, algorithm changes, platform features, and emerging trends. Collaboration: Work with other members of marketing and sales to ensure message alignment, consistency, and integration across channels. Budget Oversight: Manage the social media budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize paid/organic strategies as needed to boost followers. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in managing social media at a professional level, with a demonstrated track record of growing audiences and boosting engagement. Proven ability to lead strategy and execution across major social platforms. Experience managing complex online communities and responding effectively to diverse stakeholder interactions. Experience managing boosting budgets to grow followers and engagement on Meta platforms. SW Florida resident with knowledge and experience in the SW Florida media market preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to develop and execute effective social medial strategies. Strong skills in creating engaging and visually appealing content. Ability to analyze data, track performance and make data-driven decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Hands-on experience creating original content on TikTok and other content creation software. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functional teams to get the job done.
