Mechanic

Perform thorough inspections of vehicles and service units to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

Conduct routine maintenance and servicing, including preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer and company standards.

Repair or replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and auxiliary equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.

Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Flowco safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable industry standards.

Complete accurate service documentation, work orders, and inspection reports.

Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and status updates clearly to supervisors and internal stakeholders.

Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

High School

Technical Certification or Vocational training in Mechanics

Minimum 5 years of relevant mechanical experience

Understanding unit and vehicle systems

Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems

Familiarity with diagnostic procedures and fault-finding techniques

Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins

Vehicle inspection and accurate problem diagnosis

Use of diagnostic tools, scanners, and testing

Routine servicing (oil changes, brake servicing, etc.)

Strong problem-solving mindset

Reliability, responsibility, and professionalism

Workshop or garage environment

Work in varying temperature and around moving machinery

24 hour call out

Lift and carry heavy parts and equipment (25-45lbs or more)

Standing for extended periods of time

Bending & positioning

Visual & sensory requirements

Close vision for inspecting small parts and reading gauges

Ability to distinguish colors (important for wiring)

Hear on usual sounds or engine noises for diagnosis

Work in varying temperatures

Perform physically demanding task for long shifts

Maintain concentration while performing repetitive task
