After a quick huddle with your cell, you load a job, confirm dimensions from the blueprint, enter routings into the ERP, and choose the right wheel. You dial in feeds and speeds, set up two different grinders in your area, and make the first pass. Gauges confirm you’re on target—so you document results, help a teammate validate their setup, and keep the line moving safely and smoothly.

About the Role

We’re hiring CNC/Manual grinding experts who can set up, adjust, and run O/D, I/D, boring, and facing operations for precision aerospace components. Our Aerospace & Defense business is growing fast, with day-one benefits, competitive pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus . What You’ll Handle

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC or manual grinders for O/D, I/D, boring, and facing on precision mechanical components.
• Interpret blueprints, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts; record data and transactions in the ERP system.
• Efficiently set up and run at least two different grinding machines in the department (e.g., CNC/Manual, ID/OD, Centerless, Face).
• Measure workpieces with gauges and related metrology; set and verify preset gauges for proper calibration.
• Inspect your own work to meet quality and throughput targets, and periodically inspect work completed by other operators.
• Calculate dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times; operate multiple machines as needed; use hand tools and manual machines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; perform additional related duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on setup and operation of precision grinding equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions in English.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift; frequent tooling changes and machine adjustments.

Shifts Hiring

• 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm
• 3rd shift: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:00 am
