Data Engineer & Data Scientist (Remote)

### What You’ll Do

* Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure.
* Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
* Develop machine learning models and AI-driven solutions for real-world business problems.
* Work with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG systems, and AI agents.
* Create data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that drive business decisions.
* Improve data quality, reliability, and accessibility across the organization.
* Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies in data engineering, machine learning, and AI.

### Requirements

* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
* Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
* Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
* Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
* Knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and data analysis techniques.
* Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

### Nice to Have

* Experience with Spark, Airflow, Kafka, Databricks, or similar technologies.
* Hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AI agent frameworks.
* Experience deploying machine learning models to production.
* Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
* Background in statistics, optimization, or quantitative analysis.
* Previous startup or high-growth company experience.
