About the Position

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry – North Florida

Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM | 36 hours per week with every other weekend as needed

Highlights:

• Medical Telemetry unit with 33 beds in a 266-bed acute-care facility
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with support from unit secretary (7 AM - 11 PM), 3 CNAs, Charge RN, and unit leadership
• Electronic documentation via Meditech with remote telemetry monitoring and iPhone/iMobile technology
• HCA Unit of Distinction in Medical Surgical Nursing (2018) - recognized for excellence in patient care
• Designated Hospital of the Future with frequent pilots of innovative technology and supplies
• Unit performs inpatient chemotherapy administration (delivered by trained core staff with ONS certification)

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Florida RN license or compact state license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Specialty certifications preferred: Medical-Surgical (RN-BC), Palliative Care, or ONS (Oncology Nursing Society)
• Commitment to patient-centered care and hourly rounding protocols
• Dress code: Pewter or white scrubs, any combination
