Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging approximately 220 patients per day
• Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs across a broad range of emergency presentations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and clinical experience
• Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training via the facility's learning portal

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (pending status accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (pending status accepted)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Up-to-date 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine – no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity emergency environment
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department setting
• Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as required
