Compensation Range: $31.41 - $38.42 per hour

The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Position Overview:

The surgical technician will work closely with the perioperative registered nurse as part of a team to provide tailored, age-appropriate care to patients. This role involves maintaining a safe environment that promotes positive patient outcomes and ensuring that patients' physiological responses during surgery align with expectations in the surgical suite and throughout the perioperative process.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Surgical Technician training program
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) is required
  • Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is required

Scheduling Details:

  • 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Every other weekend and holiday
  • Part-time position
