Financial Controller

JCW is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational bank seeking a Controller to join their U.S. finance organization. This role sits at the center of the bank's broker‑dealer entity, owning the financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and control environment for the business. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a high‑visibility regulatory and financial reporting function within a global institution, with strong exposure to senior finance leadership and cross‑functional partners. This is a hybrid role with 4 days in Jersey City. What you'll do: Oversee the monthly close process and financial reporting for the broker‑dealer entity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP Partner with Treasury, Risk, and Operations on net capital calculations and regulatory capital requirements Serve as a key liaison to internal and external auditors and regulators Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls across the broker‑dealer finance function Manage and mentor a team of local and global team members What we're looking for: 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, with direct broker‑dealer or financial services exposure Deep familiarity with FOCUS reporting, net capital rules (SEC Rule 15c3-1), and FINRA requirements CPA strongly preferred Strong communication skills and comfort operating in a matrixed, global organization Haley Rizzo specializes in partnering with audit and finance professionals at leading organizations nationwide.
